What is it about?

We all take our own road of life. We all have our plans. We all have our goals. Our hopes for the future. Where will this year take me? Where am I going to be in 5 years? What about 10 years? Will my plans pay off? Or I am heading into a dead end road? Many things are uncertain these days.

How much can we be fooled: all things seem to go smoothly – good health, success, “no problem” – and suddenly things take a turn!

The bible tells us that death is not the end to our road of life. Eternity is awaiting us! Though the decision is taken during this life. The gospel of Luke talks about a man who believed to have found the right path in his life. He was very successful and anticipated to rest in it. Though the Lord spoke to him (Luke 12,20): “Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?”

This man had taken care of everything – but he did not expect to face death and in any case did not expect what was awaiting him. He was unprepared and had to bear the consequences.

This example is teaching us not to forget what comes after death – eternity. Even if death is currently not playing a role in our lives. Our life on earth has been given to us to reflect on what will come after death. Our sins have separated us from God. But God doesn’t want separation and has therefor created a way for salvation: Jesus Christ.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3,16)

These words address you: God wants you to be saved and live with him eternally. The only way to get there is to accept him as your savior. He died on the cross for you so your sins can be forgiven and receive eternal life. There is no way you can earn eternal life! However, it is a gift offered to us by God for those who accept it by faith.

Accept it today and you will know where you are going – not only today or the next few years but eternally! If you do so, the critical question has been clarified!

Jesus Christ says: “Whoever comes to me I will never cast out.” (John 6,37)

“Teestube” is operated by “Missionsgemeinde Zürich” that is located in Dietikon. “Teestube” is intended to be a meeting point for people to have an opportunity to hear about the bible and reflect on it.

We are not looking for members nor do we want to persuade anyone. Much rather are we interested to reach each and everybody who is interested in hearing about the Bible so they can begin a personal relationship with God.

We believe in the literal inspiration of the bible and the fact that each human being is separated from the Lord due to our sins. Therefor we require forgiveness of our sins and salvation. Only through Jesus Christ can we receive salvation because only he, the Son of God, sacrificed his life on the cross on behalf of us to pay for our sins and transgressions before God.

Who are we?

Where are we?
